EMPLOYMENT CONSULTING Using a database of prospective Innkeepers, contacts within the hospitality field and industry resources, we will help define the role of a potential employee and assist in recruiting, interviewing, identifying, and hiring personnel. If desired, once hired, we would use our experience and tools developed in managing our own properties to train a new staff person in their position. Lastly, we would follow up within a defined period of time to insure you have found the right person. The extent and cost of this consulting program is determined on an individual need basis. Generally, the fee will be equivalent to 10% of the annual salary of the employee. The fee will be determined in advance of hiring and is due at the time the employee is hired. HIRING PROCEDURES • Define job description • Develop search criteria and implement search • Receive resumes (provides confidentiality to the Inn) • Assist in interviewing potential candidates • Assist in hiring and training new management STAFF TRAINING• Develop/revise employee manuals • Review existing systems • Establish communication procedures FOLLOW UP • Establish ongoing communication with client and employee • Meet with client after a determined date to discuss progress • File completed agreement report FEES• Base fee determined by the estimated salary range of the position (generally 10-15% of estimated annual salary). • 50% of base fee is payable at the time of acceptance of the agreement. The remainder is due upon the successful hiring of a candidate. • Expenses incurred during the performance of the agreement, and directly related thereto, will be fully reimbursed by the client. • Additional services will be billed on a case by case basis. |
